1988 Ford Mustang LX Coupe

This car was originally a 2.3L base coupe. The previous owner pulled the car apart and repainted the underside, engine bay, and exterior. A 5.0L with ported E7s, a ported lower, and sheetmetal upper intake, replaced the 2.3L. An AOD with lots of PA Performance goodies and a healthy stall went in behind it. An 8.8 rear with 4.10 gears replaced the stock 7.5. Other mods included shorty headers, offroad H-pipes, Flowmaster mufflers, manual steering, A/C delete, and smog pump delete.

The owner has replaced the ported lower and custom upper with a Holley Systemax II intake. There was a nice gain, since the previous owner left the inside of the upper they fabricated very jagged. The interior is now stripped of everything from the rear seat to the trunk. It retains the dash, console, carpet, and front seats.
